At the start of the episode, the couple wakes to a bang on the wall of their house but they don’t see anything. This episode is all about the town’s fundraising talent show. Wanda and Vision are going to do a magic show but first, they split up, Vision heads to the neighborhood watch meeting because they were worried about the banging and Wanda heads to help plan the talent show. On the way, she finds a miniature modern helicopter in red and yellow color with the Sword logo on it, a stark contrast to the black and white episode. At each meeting, we meet more neighbors, including Geraldine who feels like she doesn’t belong. Dottie is the head of the committee. As she and Wanda are talking a garbled message comes over the radio asking Wanda who is doing this to her. Vision tries to cover up for not eating by chewing some gum, he accidentally swallows it and it “gums up his gears”. At the talent show, Wanda uses her powers to save the show from Vision accidentally telling everyone their secrets. At the end of the episode, Wanda gets a baby bump. They hear banging again and see a man in a bee suit coming out of the sewer on the street. Wanda says “no” and rewinds to them back in the house. Then everything blooms into color. In the middle of the episode, there is an ad for Strucker watches, it’s the same actors as the toast commercial.
Pros
Another great sitcom-style episode
Vision acting awkward because he swallowed a piece of gum was a good gag
Wanda using her powers to cover up for Vision
Cons
There wasn’t enough character introductions
Still ominous and mysterious 2 episodes in

5/5 Magic Hats
Another perfect sitcom episode, with way more mystery in this one. The intro had a lot of Easter eggs, Grim Reaper’s helmet and the three signs at the grocery store, Auntie A’s Cat Litter for Agatha Harkness and her cat, Bova’s Milk for Bova of the New Men who was the midwife for Wanda’s birth, and the Wonder sign, obviously a nod to Wonder Man. The magic show and Vision not understanding how it works was a great gag and with the cabinet displaying the mind stone. Agnes is back, wearing the same pin as the first episode, and pops up right when Wanda is contemplating the helicopter. Dottie is condescending and judgmental and great in that role. Geraldine doesn’t feel like she belongs because she doesn’t, she’s really Monica Rambeau, she was probably flying that helicopter. The Strucker watch ad says he will always have time for you, is it possible he’s back like Arnim Zola living in a computer? I think if Hydra is involved somehow they aren’t the ultimate big bad of the series. There is going to be a swerve, if you know the comics, Wanda probably gets dangerous when SWORD tries to tell her nothing is real, her husband, her children, and then she breaks bad, like quiet Willow when she loses Tara in season six of Buffy. But Marvel likes to mix things up.
What we know is SWORD is trying to get in to get Wanda, they are watching these sitcoms and have no idea what’s going on. Wanda seems just as clueless at times, not knowing what is going on, as if she’s being manipulated into using her powers. We know from the trailers that Agnes knows that Vision is actually dead. Is Agnes manipulating her? I don’t think so. I think she’s trying to be helpful, steer Wanda away from trouble. Something about the town and the way everyone is acting is familiar. It reminds me of the framework in the Agents of Shield show. Everyone had their memories overridden with their biggest desires. Wanda is being shown her greatest wishes, being married to Vision, having children, twins just like her and her brother.
What happens next? We have at least one or two more episodes before everything falls apart. I think we get Brady Bunch for episode three. The commercials have had to do with big things in her life, the Stark bomb, Strucker giving her powers. The next one would be based on Ultron or Pietro. I think we will get a Thanos reference in one as well. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
