Black Panther is easily one of the strongest heroes in Marvel Comics. But there is much readers still do not know about Bast The Panther God’s champion and his lineage. T’Challa is the King of Wakanda, an African nation that built its society around the extremely rare metal vibranium. Vibranium has been used to make the nation the most technologically advanced on Earth. The Black Panther is the title of its ruler and protector. As the son of the prior King T’Chaka, T’Challa was groomed to become the heir to the throne of Wakanda from birth.

T’Challa, already trained to his physical and mental peak, ingested the divine heart-shaped herb which granted him superhuman abilities and a link to Bast The Panther God. Black Panther’s physical abilities rival most Avengers and his boundless resources make him one of Marvel’s most formidable heroes. Black Panther is so amazing that readers and fans have often wondered what T’Challa’s limitations were. He just got even more over-powered in The Avengers #36 The Age of Konshu Part 4.

The Age of Konshu is centered around the Elder God Konshu, and Marc Spector The Moon Knight. Before becoming Moon Knight, Marc Spector was a boxer, Marine, and C.I.A. operative. Spector was also a mercenary after he could no longer stand working for the government. Spector fell under the influence of Ancient Egyptian God Konshu while doing mercenary work in Egypt and adopted the Moon Knight persona to fight crime in New York. Some of Moon Knight’s abilities include superhuman strength and occasional supernatural abilities.

In this story arc, Moon Knight is guided by Konshu the ancient Egyptian God of The Moon to defeat The Avengers. Konshu is trying to prevent a future he foresaw ruled by Mephisto so he uses Moon Knight as a pawn to reshape the world. Black Panther refuses to go down without a fight. He battles the Elder God Konshu, who wields Mjolnir, Thor’s hammer. To Konshu’s surprise, he isn’t the only one capable of wielding Mjolnir.

T’Challa reveals that every Black Panther can control Mjolnir because they can control the spirit of the storm contained within the metal. Only a select few Marvel characters have been worthy enough to lift Thor’s hammer. Black Panther also proceeds to beat the snot out of the enhanced Moon Knight despite his overwhelming upgrades. The Avengers #36 reveals Black Panther to be more powerful than ever before. So powerful that the already enhanced Moon Knight needed an extra boost to take him on.
